Everyone wants to know what the secret to Zac Efron Workout Routine is. He’s been in the media a lot lately not just for the latest movie “Bad Neighbors” or for getting best shirtless performance of the year at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.
According to Seth Rogen “Efron has the best body he’s ever seen on a human being”. Zac has also been featured in “Men’s Health Magazine” in 2012.
Not every guy wants to build huge muscles or get completely ripped, but when it comes down to it, Zac Efron has been voted by fans to have one of the best male bodies in Hollywood.
Efron is a naturally thin guy with very little body fat plus he’s only 26 years old and weighs 68 kg (15olbs). Efron is one of these guys that can eat a lot of calories and still not put any weight on.
This is a big problem if you are trying to gain weight, but it makes things a lot harder if you are looking to build lean muscle mass.
To go from scrawny to beach body material Efron had to pay close attention to his diet and his post workout recovery to help him build muscle and lose weight.
His workout routine vary’s depending on his schedule but I’ve seen a lot of guys with a similar body type as Zac Efron but I suppose looks and fame has a lot to do with it too.
Men that have a body like Zac Efron have to eat enough nutrient dense calories consistently to build lean muscle mass.
You can spend hours doing weight training exercises at the gym, but it won’t result in muscle if you don’t feed your body with enough protein and calories for your body to use as building blocks.
The best exercises for strength and to help build lean muscle mass are squats, bench press and dead-lifts. By doing these exercises you use more muscle groups to maximize your body to build muscle so that it will enable you to lift heavier weights.
Remember it’s important to take at least two days off from the gym to give your muscles time to recover. If you train chest and back on Monday, you should focus on different muscle groups such as biceps and shoulders on Tuesday.
Take a day off Wednesday, and then train legs and triceps on Thursday. This is to ensure maximum results because your muscles can only grow during rest periods.
So obviously it takes consistent hard work for a guy like Zac Efron to pack on muscle. But he’s proof that hard work does pay off if you stick to it.
